AP assembly: Naidu open challenge to Jagan

AP assembly witnessed the back to back counters between the TDP and YSRCP officials.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu challenged to prove his allegations that, the TDP Ministers had purchased massive stretches of land in the capital region on benami names or else apologise for the baseless comments.

Targeting the news printed in Sakshi news paper, Chandrababu Naidu made the above challenge in the assembly.

Naidu said that, there was no need to purchase even an acre of land on benami names. If Jagan proves his allegations, he is ready to dismiss that concerned minister, Naidu said.

CM further demanded that, the house proceedings should continue only after charges are proven.

Countering Jagan upon his allegations on land pooling, Naidu said, AP farmers believed in the government and gave their lands to it and we are bound to protect their interests and will construct the capital city Amaravati.

Not only Naidu, several other TDP leaders like Atchennaidu challenged Jagan to prove his allegations. As the issue turned more viral, after YSRCP activists shouted loud slogans, disturbing the house proceedings, the speaker finally suspended all the YSRCP leaders for one day, except the party chief, Jagan Mohan Reddy.
