YS Jagan Clarifies On Early Elections:- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan has cleared the air for premature elections rumours. Yesterday at a Cabinet meeting with ministers Jagan clarified that there will be no scope for early elections in the state and that will go as per schedule. There was a heap of speculation about dissolving YSRCP government in preference of going to early elections. Jagan clarified his intention at the cabinet meeting.
YS Jagan directed his ministers to work efficiently for the remaining 9 months so that YSRCP will have a resounding victory in the coming elections.
At the cabinet meeting, they approved 63 important matters including, Group 1 and 2 recruitment and also the 12th Pay Revision Commission (PRC) implementation and hike of DA by 2.73 percent. Cabinet has also regularized 10,000 contract employees and along with that Cabinet also sanctioned 6,840 posted including medical colleges and police battalion.

YS Jagan asked the ministers to counter opposition statements on their governance. He also told the ministers to explain the welfare schemes of the government. At the cabinet meeting, Jagan said to ministers that AP had started construction of 17 medical colleges and five will be completed before the election.
Jagan also told the ministers that public had allotted them 5 long years and asked them not waste it. He expressed his dissatisfaction with underperforming ministers and asked them to work efficiently in coming 9 months.
