Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is allegedly playing strategies on Pawan Kalyan internally, to make him stay away from BJP.
Though BJP and TDP joined hands for 2014 elections, many times in the past, the duo party leaders criticized each other, in the recent times. In fact, even after BJP candidate lost in the recent Warangal by-polls, BJP said that, it was due to TDP. Not staying calm, even TDP gave enough to BJP on the issue.
It was known that, after 2014 elections, BJP lost in all the further elections conducted in the country, be it Delhi, Bihar or in Telangana. Speculating that, people lost hope on BJP, Naidu on the beforehand, started involving rivalries with BJP and thus contest in the next elections solely.
Regarding this, currently the main strength of BJP, is Janasena Chief, Pawan Kalyan’s support. It is an open fact that strength is helping the party, to survive in Andhra Pradesh.
Adding to this, Pawan belonging to the Kapu community is the added advantage. AP had good sentiments and a Kapu community leader has hueg following over there. This has been identified by BJP and is considering to make Pawan, sit on the top chair, in the next elections.
Speculating this on the beforehand, Naidu, who cannot afford to sacrifice that top chair to anybody, is trying to pull away Pawan, from BJP. Strengthening this strategy, he compromised on the land pooling, bauxite G.O, as per the request of Pawan and even brought Kapu community into the BC category, which is a big unexpected move.
The insiders say that, Naidu’s intention is not to give any option for Pawan, to criticize him and make him be a lifetime supporter to him and his party.
On the other side, even Pawan Kalyan is not keen on getting on to the top chair so quickly and he even specified it in many public meetings. So, whatever strategies BJP plans, using Pawan as a weapon, seems meaningless at this time.
