Amaravathi foundation stone ceremony was successfully held amidst of biggies from the state and the central governments. Here are a few of the highlights of the occasion.
As pre-planned, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the ceremony and laid the foundation stone. Later, speaking on the occasion, he said, “I am happy to see Telangana Chief Minister KCR and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on one stage. In fact, upon knowing Naidu met KCR for inviting for the ceremony and the latter received positively, I felt happy. I hope the same relation continues among them forever and thus support each other in the development of dual Telugu states.”
Modi about special status in Amaravathi ceremony
When people came to know that Modi is coming to AP, the first thing that came to everyone’s mind was, his response on the special status. So not disappointing them, Modi said, “As promised before, everything that is mentioned in the AP reorganization act, will be implemented in “letter and spirit” within the stipulated time frame.”
Immense response for KCR in Amaravathi ceremony
When Telangana Chief Minister KCR’s visit was said to be confirmed, there are many buzzes in the political circles, stating that, KCR, being the key person in the bifurcation of the Telugu states, might receive huge criticism in the Amaravathi ceremony.
But on the contrary, right from KCR’s name was announced on the stage, there is an immense response among the public. When he started the speech, many whistles are heard from the public.
Seeing this, a few estimated that, the people are in an opinion that, it was due to KCR, AP is getting a new capital and treated him as an indirect reason for the development of Andhra Pradesh state.
On the other side, a few felt that, AP people are happy for the dual Telugu states Chief Ministers meet and so are expecting mutual cooperation between the duo, and so treated KCR as the special guest and gave him, immense respect and response in the state.
Pawan Kalyan, YSRCP away from Amaravathi ceremony
YSRCP leaders are completely away from the Amaravathi ceremony and as expected, even Pawan Kalyan skipped the occasion, as he is currently at Gujarat, for Sardaar Gabbar Singh movie shooting.
Amaravathi ceremony: Sai Kumar and Sunitha says they are blessed
Dialogue king Sai Kumar and playback singer Sunitha hosted the ceremony, with their identical style of voices. At the end, they said that, they are blessed to host the such a huge occasion like Amaravathi stone ceremony and thanked Chandrababu Naidu for the opportunity.
On the whole, though in the beginning, it was expected that, Amaravathi ceremony might lead to a few of the controversies due to the visit of Modi and KCR, none of such incidents took place at the occasion and it witnessed the finest celebrations, which are going to have a special page in Andhra Pradesh state history.
