AP Capital Bill before Cabinet!

The Andhra Pradesh Capital Bill will be placed before the cabinet when it will be meeting today at AP secretariat. The cabinet meeting will be led by AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and it is going to be a long as a in-depth discussion on the Capital Bill is expected. Once the cabinet approves the Bill, the government is likely to pass an Ordinance immediately and officially Vijayawada, Guntur, Tenali and Mangalagiri [VGTM] regions will be declared as the Capital region of new Andhra Pradesh state.

The Ordinance will facilitate Capital Region Development Authority [CRDA] and it will be divided into two zones. CRDA Governing Council will be led by AP CM and Municipal, Finance ministries will come under this Authority too. Firstly 29 villages will be brought into CRDA and later it will be increased as per the dimensions of 180 kms ringroad that will be constructed surrounding the capital city.

The Andhra Pradesh Capital Bill was prepared by the Municipal ministry and after getting the approval of Law and Finance ministries, the bill reached the cabinet meeting.
