APNGOs Association under the leadership of Ashok Babu shook the Government with consistent strike till the threat of Phailin cyclone. The strike was called off just temporarily as stated by the APNGOs when the Chief Minister had rounds of talks with the leaders.
The threat is still there for the flash strike as warned by the APNGOs Association in case of fast forwarding the process of bifurcation. But the Government at the Center is caught up between their statements and pressures and in view of the elections already started in the States and coming general elections for which it has to gather its political strength.
APNGO Association is holding meeting today to discuss further plan of action in the wake of all party meetings and further deliberations on bifurcation.
Although Seemandhra people have been protesting without let up and completed 100 days of protest, the Center is not showing any outward anxiety or concern excepting statements of Digvijay Singh now and then to the effect that justice will be done to Seemandhra people!
APNGOs are just waiting for the time to go on strike again as the sources reveal!
