Ashok Babu the President of APNGOs' Association has become popular after his active participation in Samaikyandhra movement. He was unanimously elected as the President of Samaikya Rashtra Parirakshana Vedika and almost all associations participated in the Samaikya movement expressed their solidarity and total support at that time.

Ashok Babu stated earlier that the elections have nothing to do with the movement.  Whatever may be the results, the Samaikya movement will go on. Today the elections of APNGOs Association is being conducted between 9.00 am and 3.00 pm. 

Ashok Babu contesting from Ongole has an opponent there. Basheer panel is contesting against him.  But Basheer and Ashok Babu were seen together cheerfully coming out after franchising their vote. They said together that the object is same that is the welfare of the employees no matter who wins in the election. 

The employees are queuing at polling centers since 9.00 am to cast their vote. The results are expected to come out at 8.00 pm today.
