Jagan's Speech in Samaikya Sankharavam

The public meeting of YSRCP Samaikya Sankharavam started at 2.00 pm today as scheduled in LB Stadium at Hyderabad. After all intial speakers spoke on the occasion, YS Jagan started his speech at 4.10 pm after all the leaders cleared the dais.

Before starting the speech Jagan asked for one minute silence for the 20 people died in the recent incessant rains and floods. Then he thanked the people supported the Samaikya Sankharavam by coming in lakhs in spite of the loss due to rains and floods and difficulties in making up to the venue came into the stadium and 10 times more standing outside on the roads. He saluted all the children and women came to attend the meeting in spite of many hardships.

Jagan mainly targeted AICC President Sonia Gandhi accusing her of bifurcating the State and dividing the Telugus for the sake of seeing her son Rahul Gandhi sitting on the seat of Prime Minister. He said that Sonia Gandhi is staking the future of the Telugu children for the sake her own child Rahul.

He accused Telugu Desam Party President Chandrababu Naidu for asking for favors and packages instead of fighting for the united State of AP. He has not resigned nor taken the letter back he has given in support of Telangana Statehood even after the APNGO went to him and requested him. He said that it is not possible to withdraw.

He accused Kiran Kumar Reddy of cheating the people of the State and not crossing the line Sonia draws sacrificing the Telugu pride. Kiran Kumar Reddy was asked to convene special Assembly and make resolution to keep the State united for which he refused. Jagan said that we could have passed the resolution before the Bill of Telangana comes to the Assembly and whole Nation would have seen it and the Government would be obliged to stop the process of bifurcation.

Jagan said that the people of AP are not pawns to play with. He warned that the people will not keep quiet for the injustice done. They will throw those corrupt politicians in to the Bay of Bengal.

He questioned how the Government cannot ignore the 80 days protest by the students who kept aside their books asking where there should go for the employment after their studies are over, strike of the Employees sacrificing their salaries fighting against injustice done to the State and farmers who did not go to farms asking what they should do to get water for their fields. He questions whether they have humanity left in them?

He warned that water sharing will be the major problem and we Telugu people will fight like Karnataka and Tamil Nadu who are fighting continuously in spite of the Tribunals and courts working. He says that there is acute drinking water shortage from Kuppam to Srikakulam. If the Polavaram is awarded National Status first of all, he questions, from where does it get water. We get water only after the Maharashtra and Karnataka projects are satisfied.

He says it pains when we look at Hyderabad that has to be left after 10 years. He said that the children will hold collars of Kiran Kumar Reddy, Chandrababu and Sonia Gandhi and ask them where they should go for their further education and employment. He said that the value of the houses and plots of small timers of Andhra will come down to half of it when the bifurcation happens. Who will bear the loss?

Finally he narrated a scene from the book he read recently in which the dictator Hitler was ruling. He sent Nazis but a person thought they came for Communists and he has no risk as he is not a communist. Then Nazis came for jews and he was not bothered as he was not a Jew. Then they came for him and when he turned back to see there were no one behind him to support. He related the story to the present trend in the country.

Delhi Government is taking unilateral decision to bifurcate the State without caring for the opinion of the majority of the people. When injustice is being done in Andhra Pradesh, other states are thinking that they are not affected. When it happens to West Bengal Mamta Benarjee will not see any support. When it happens to Tamil Nadu, Jaya Lalitha, Karunanidhi and Chidambaram will not see any help. And when it happens to Odisha Navin Patnaik will not get help from any.

Jagan said that it is a fight between Delhi dictatorial ways and Telugu pride. He said that he will ask some questions and the audience should stand and say yes or no for them at such a pitch that it will make the heart of Sonia and eardrums of Kiran Kumar and Chandrababu break.

The questions are,

Do you want the State to get bifurcated?

Do you want Telugus should fight for water?

Do you want that we Should fight for Hyderabad?

Should brothers have infight?

Should we pardon Sonia, Kiran and Chandrababu who are the cause for the injustice?

Should we ignore the injustice? All said no for an answer.

YS Jagan assured that the fight will go on till winter session of the Parliament and till elections. He asked that the people should vote for 30 MP seats to YSRCP so that we can see who can bifurcate the State. He said that with the strength of 30 MPs a PM will be elected who works in favor of keeping the State united. He said that with that strength we can bust the dictatorial ways of the Delhi Government.

He ended his speech with the slogan shouting of Jai Telugu Talli, Jai Samaikyandhra and Jai YSR after which the leaders have shouted Jai Jagan.
