Kapil Sibal Removes His Collusion Tweet With BJP After Rahul Gandhi's Clarification:- The All Indian Congress Committee meeting took place today in New Delhi. Senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal said that he was informed by Rahul Gandhi personally that he never said what was attributed to him. "Was informed by Rahul Gandhi personally that he never said what was attributed to him. I therefore withdraw my tweet," Sibal posted on twitter. Kapil Sibal earlier that he never made a statement supporting BJP but it was Rahul Gandhi who said that 'we are colluding with BJP'. He soon deleted the tweet.

Minutes after his tweet, Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala clarified him saying that he was misled. "Sh. Rahul Gandhi hasn't said a word of this nature nor alluded to it. Please don't be mislead by false media discourse or misinformation being spread.But yes, we all need to work together in fighting the draconian Modi rule rather then fighting & hurting each other & the Congress," posted Randeep Singh Surjewala on his twitter page.

A crucial meeting was held with more than 20 senior leaders present. The meeting was to finalize a full-time active leader who can drive the party. Manmohan Singh, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Amarinder Singh, Kapil Sibal, Mallikarjun Kharge, PL Punia, KC Venugopal and AK Antony are present for the meeting.
