Fourth day passed in the Assembly without transacting any business. Excepting condolences for the death of TDP MLA Ambati Brahmanaiah on the first day of the session, MLAs of the Assembly have not come to any consensus on anything including letting the proceedings of the House go.
After adjourning twice for half hour each time to let the disruptions with protests to subside, the Speaker Nadendla Manohar adjourned the Assembly third time to tomorrow.
TRS MLAs surrounded Speaker's podium and demanded a resolution to be made for the separate Statehood of Telangana. They also demanded immediate release of the arrested leaders. TRS leader said at the media point in the Assembly that it became a habit of the Government to arrest Telangana leaders.
After making several requests to the MLAs to calm down, to go to their respective seats and to let the Assembly session go smoothly, the Speaker Nadendla Manohar at last announced its adjournment to tomorrow.
TV Channels, other media and political critics are objecting for Assembly not doing any transactions wasting the time and public money. Ruling party’s contention is that so many problems of the State are pending for discussion and the Members are not allowing them to be introduced to discuss and to pass them. TRS says that Telangana is also a burning problem that has to be addressed immediately.
