The demands opposition parties wanted to press today are-
TDP-Farmers' problems due to shortage of seeds, YSRCP-National Project Status to Pranahita-Chevella project, TRS,BJP- A resolution in the Assembly for Telangana Statehood, CPI- Permission for Chalo Assembly, MIM- Prime Minister's 15 points program for the welfare of the Minority Classes.
On the refusal of the Speaker for the discussion on the above, the opposition parties went on protesting that resulted in the adjournment for half hour. TRS leaders who shouted their protests in front of the Speaker later squatted in front of the Chamber of the Chief Minister in protest for the permission rejected by the Government for Chalo Assembly.
After the Assembly restarted, TRS MLAs again resorted to slogan shoutings and protests at the Speaker's podium.
Speaker Nadendla Manohar and the Finance Minister Anam Rama Narayana urged the Members of the Assembly to stay calm and let the proceedings go as scheduled so that there will be enough time left for the demands of the opposition also to be introduced and discussed.
But as their requests were not cared by the opposition parties and the noisy protests disrupting the proceedings went on, the Speaker once again announced an adjournment for half hour.
The Chief Minister showed his anger for the protests of TRS leaders in front of his Chamber. He asked them better come in and talk instead of resorting to a drama outside the chamber.
