Hyderabad blasts: Botsa backs officers

PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana has responded on the bomb blasts that took place in Hyderabad last night. In the wake of allegations of negligence against officials, Botsa has said that officials were at no fault in whatever has happened. Also, he has asked the political parties not to politicize this issue. Nonetheless, he assured that the government would take all steps to ensure that such incidents don't take place again.

Talking about exgratia, Botsa Satyanarayana has said that Andhra Pradesh government would give Rs. 6 lakh while prime minister would give Rs. 2 lakh to the kin and kith of the deceased. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1 lakh each.

It may be noted that two bomb blasts took place in Dilsukhnagar area of Hyderabad on Thursday day that killed at least a dozen and injured scores. Most of the deceased were in their adolescence. An MBA girl who was about to complete her course lost her leg in the mishap.

Kiran sarkar reportedly came under severe criticism over alleged negligence on the alerts and public safety. Time alone has an answer whether this would impact 2014 elections.
