The government of Andhra Pradesh has been under severe criticism for not dealing properly with families of Palem bus victims. Transport Minister Botsa time and again said that government is not responsible for the incident and how can government help the families. This irresponsible words irked many and hero Sivaji, Lok Satta Party and CPI joined hands with victims families to fight against the government.

Noticing the developments, CM Kiran Kumar Reddy called upon the families of victims and held discussions with them. CM Kiran has assured them in increase of exgratia and also job to one of the family member through outsourcing.

While the families of Palem victims demanded government to be harsh on private travels and make sure they run under government norms. Hero Sivaji thanked CM Kiram for his decisions and requested him to live up to his words.
