Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde has reportedly said to an English daily that the general elections 2014 will be held in united Andhra Pradesh citing the division process may take 70 to 90 days more. Shinde also made careful comments regarding the new government formation as Kiran resigned to the post. “The Center is yet to take a decision on President Rule, but chances are high on forming government. The clarity in this issue will come out in three or four days,” added Shinde.

However Home Minister opined that, the complete decision on elections will be taken by the Election Commission of India and he did not rule out the delay of elections. “As far as the Central government is concerned, we are focused to complete the bifurcation process. Also the opposition parties are demanding package for Seemandhra region and so we estimating all the possibilities to satisfy the needs of the region, said Shinde.

The Congress high command has called PCC Chief Botsa, Union minister Chiranjeevi to be in Delhi on Monday as a decision on new government may come out. Kanna Lakshminarayana and finance minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy are also in the race. Meanwhile from Telangana region, Deputy CM Damodara and Jana Reddy are trying their best to bag the CM post. We have to see who will be the lucky man to chair the CM post for one last time.
