The 13th Metropolitan Magistrate in Hyderabad has issued an arrest warrant on liquor baron Vijay Mallya in a cheque dishonour case. GMR approached the court when Vijay Mallya failed to pay the airport tax to Shamshabad airport. Vijay Mallya once enjoyed the limelight as country's affluent person. But after setting up of Kingfisher Airlines, he hit the news for all wrong reasons. And finally the same Airlines made him face the arrest.
