
CPI state secretary Narayana and his team met the prime minister Manmohan Singh today in Delhi. They urged the PM to look into the Telangana issue and apparently asked the Centre to stick to its promise. The sources said prime minister mentioned about the no uniform opinion in the parties on Telangana issue. Narayana, who spoke to the media after the meeting, has said that PM stressing on no consensus looked like Centre was not concentrating on Telangana issue.
On the other hand, Baireddy, the pro Rayalaseema activist has said that he would soon take out a padayatra in demand for separate Rayalaseema state. Mentioning that Rayalaseema region witnessed loss in the unified state has demanded the Centre to decide on Rayalaseema before they make a decision on Telangana issue.
