Vizag MP family Kidnapped and Released:- YSRCP Vizag MP MVV Satyanarayana's wife Jyothi and son Sharad were kidnapped in Vizag, Andhra Pradesh by a gang for a ransom of Rs 50 Cr. MP’s auditor Gannamaneni Venkateshwar Rao was also kidnapped when he went to deliver the ransom amount demanded by the kidnappers.

Vishakapatnam police acted firmly and rescued the victims from the kidnappers. Vizag City commissioner Trivikram Verma said to the media that all persons were rescued within hours after the information was received. Some of the police officers who were in rescue operation sustained minor injuries.

MP’s family was abducted from their house at MVP colony on Wednesday. Police have formed 15 teams and arrested the kidnappers on Thursday.

Rowdy Sheeter Choppari Hemanth Kumar of the Malakapuram area was arrested. Police have traced the kidnappers with mobile signals. They were located at Eluru Amalarapuram Road. In the rescue operation, police vehicles are damaged in the chase.

As per Commissioner, they received a complaint at 8 AM and police rescued the three people at around 12:30 PM. MP Satyanarana who was in Hyderabad, rushed to Vizag after knowing about the kidnap.

The reasons for the kidnap are yet unknown. MP has been involved in many land-related issues and police looking into every possible way and investigating the issue.
