Boppana Satya Narayana Rao is no more:- Sri Chaitanya founder and chairman Boppana Satya Narayana Rao died on Thursday evening. BS Rao was facing several health complications and was under treatment at a private nursing home in Hyderabad. After prolonged treatment, BS Rao passed away.
His mortal is shifted to Vijayawada, Tadigappa for his last rites. BS Rao is a doctor and established Sri Chaitanya educational institutions (Chaitanya Vidya Sanstha) in 1986 along with his wife Dr Jhansi Lakshmi Bai Boppanna. At the very first Chaitanya was started only for girls and later extended to co-education. In 1991 their campus at Hyderabad, which was their first campus outside Vijayawada.
Sri Chaitanya operated 321 junior colleges, 322 techno schools and 107 CBSE schools across the country. According to the board, 8.5 lakh students are pursuing Chaitanya and the institute is named for topping the ranks in all competitive exams.
