TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu has visited Ruya hospital in Tirupati, which has been hitting headlines for all wrong reasons. Several infants died at the hospital apparently due to the lack of proper medical facilities including oxygen cylinders. Chandrababu Naidu has taken on the government on this issue and blamed the government for the alleged deaf ear to the deaths of kids. He has questioned whether Ruya hospital was set up to save children on kill their lives. He expressed his anguish over the lack of minimum facilities at the hospital.
Chandrababu Naidu has even said that the situation was similar in MGM hospital in Warangal and Niloufer hospital in Hyderabad. He demanded the government to swiftly look into the issue and do then needful. He even found fault with Tirupati MP s interference in hospital affairs. It may be noted that Chittoor district collector earlier said a special oxygen cylinder plant would be set up in Tirupati for hospitals such as Ruya. Will government's apathetic attitude towards infants' death cost Congress party dearly? Yes, said political observers.
