Tension prevailed at road number two of Banjara Hill as rumours were rife on minister Danam Nagender's silent protest. A large number of Bajrang Dal activists have reached that area and raised slogans against Danam Nagender for allegedly hurting the sentiments of Hindus by barging into the temple with a mob, ransacking the temple and throwing Tulasi plants (which are prayed by those who follow Sanatana Dharma).
Meanwhile, a large number of police today arrived at Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple at Banjara Hills area. Danam Nagender arrived at the spot and didn't protest there but took part in Krishnashtami celebrations outside ISKCON temple (conducted by locals) while celebrations touched peak inside ISKCON temple.
