KCR allocates a lavish land for TRS in Hyderabad:- The government of Telangana has allocated 4935 square yards of land in a prime location in Hyderabad and this triggered debates and criticism from the opposition parties. The land is located in the plush location of Banjara Hills in Hyderabad. The land is allocated for the construction of TRS Party Office for the city wing. GO no 47 has been issued by the Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar on Wednesday evening regarding the same. The allocation was done as per the District Collector dated May 9th and the recommendation was made by the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA) on May 10th.
The total allocated land was 4935 sq. yards which is more than an acre and it is located at NBT Nagar in Road no 12, Banjara Hills. The land is close to the Minister Quarters. The Chief Secretary wanted the District Collector to submit the alienation of the land. The GO did not mention the price of the allocation of the land to the TRS and it referred to a GO that was issued in 2018. All the party offices of TRS will get property tax exemption. As per the latest records, the registration value of the land in Banjara Hills is costing Rs 64,500 per square yard. In open market, the land value is close to Rs 2 lakhs per square yard. The land would be costing Rs 74 crores as per the open market. The government of Telangana allocated the land for Rs 4.93 lakhs in total.
