Fire Mishap in JRK Building Hyderabad, No Casualties

In a tragic incident, a fire broke out in JRK Building at Banjara Hills Road No 12  in Hyderabad on Friday morning. Around two fire tenders were rushed to the spot.

As per initial reports, it is not confirmed what caused the fire in the building. It is a multi-storeyed building of a software company.

Also, there has been no casualties reported so far in the incident as there were not many staffers in the office at the time of the accident. Meanwhile, efforts are on to douse the fire.  They rescued two persons - Srividya and another youth.

The police have requisitioned the services of few more fire tenders to contain the fires. The police said "the building did not meet the fire safety requirements and did not have an alternative staircase for the people to scamper across to safety. There isn't enough space for the fire tenders to manoeuvre."

Prima facie, it appears that short circuit is the cause of the fire mishap. The police are investigating.

Earlier in the day, around 3 fire tenders were rushed to Vikas Bhawan in Patna after the fire had broken out in the building.
