CPI slams state government 'non functional'

The Communist Party state secretary Narayana, today slammed the ruling government and termed it as 'non functional' government. He said when a Minister who had been sentenced by court is reluctant to resign, he must be dismissed. He failed to understand the reasons behind the silence of the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy. Referring to the state excise and secondary education minister K Parthasarathy case, the CPI leader made the remarks in Hyderabad on Friday.

The CPI leader also ascertained that the Minister has lost all grounds to continue in office and he must be sacked immediately. The state government has also failed to get the required Gas quota or the Medical seats quota, inspite of the Congress government at the centre. The CPI leader said that on all counts the government has become obsolete. He also criticized the government in nominating a novice to the post of Health Minister.
