Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah is touring Guntur district from July 27 to July 29. He will take part in several programmes and lay foundation works. As per the schedule released by the public relations department, K Rosaiah would arrive at Hyderabad at 7.30 pm from Delhi. He will attend a wedding function at Madhapur at 8.30 pm.  The same night he would board Simhapuri Express and alight at Tenali on Friday at 4.42 am and from there his Guntur district tour begins.

The political observers wondered as to why Tamil Nadu Governor is time and against visiting Andhra Pradesh officially. They said Governor should not show any regional sentiments and Rosaiah touring Guntur district in official status apparently reflects his regional feelings. Also, they opined that this was reportedly first time in Indian politics that a Governor was touring his native state officially.
