Former Chief Minister Rosaiah is no More

Former Chief Minister Rosaiah is no More:- Senior politician and former Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh Konijeti Rosaiah breathed his last this morning. He worked as the Chief Minister for United Andhra Pradesh between 2009 and 2010 and he was appointed as the Governor of Tamil Nadu from 2011 to 2016. He also worked as the Governor of Karnataka for two months. Starting his career in Congress, Rosaiah took various responsibilities and served as a MLA, MLC, MP in his long political career. He maintained a low profile and stood away from controversies. Rosaiah is the only minister who presented 15 budgets in AP Assembly. Rosaiah was unwell and he was rushed to a private hospital in Hyderabad this morning.

K Rosaiah was born on July 1933 in Guntur district's Vemuru. He worked as MLC in 1968, 1974 and 1980. For the first time, he turned Minister of Roads under the regime of Marri Chenna Reddy. He also worked in the cabinets of T Anjaiah, Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy, N Janardhan Reddy and YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Rosaiah took up several portfolios of Health, Education, Transport and Home Ministries. When AP was in a crucial state after the demise of YS Rajasekhar Reddy's demise, Rosaiah was named as the Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh when the Telangana state agitation was on high.

Rosaiah is survived by three sons and a daughter. The 88-year -old politician suffered low BP and he was rushed to Star Hospitals, Hyderabad. The doctors confirmed that he was brought dead to the hospital. Seveal politicians of AP and Telangana offered their condolences on the demise of Rosaiah. Rest in peace Rosaiah garu.
