A Hanuman statue of 48 feet height is inaugurated at Namalagundu Veeranjaneya Swamy temple today. Tamil Nadu Governor Konijeti Rosaiah attended the function.
The inauguration is also attended by State Minsiter Gita Reddy, MP Anjan Kumar Yadav, MLA Jayasudha and Paripurnananda Swamy of Sri Pitham amidst sea of people thronged to witness the occasion.
Thousands people waited for hours together to witness the event. The roads from Chilakalguda and from Warasiguda were totally blocked. People showed enthusiasm to have a glimpse of the statue irrespective of their age and gender.
