Telugu Desam Party recently came out with a BC declaration to woo the BC vote bank. As per the declaration, 100 MLA tickets would be allotted to TDP leaders from backward classes. However, this idea is a mere copy of Chiranjeevi's ideologies, said endowments minister C Ramachandraiah. He said while Chandrababu gave declaration now, Chiranjeevi has already implemented when he established PRP. Chiru gave 104 MLA tickets to the leaders from backward communities.

It is known that BC s constitute more than 50 per cent of the state population and their vote bank has turned very crucial now as Reddy/Christian/Dalit vote bank got split due to the entry of YSR Congress.  Anyway, the experts opined that Chandrababu Naidu might have given this declaration after noticing the political situation in the state, but Chiranjeevi did purely for  uplifting  backward communities. Whether one agrees or not, the fact is that Chandrababu Naidu's gimmicks will be bombed before Chiranjeevi's commitment, added the observers.
