The Andhra Pradesh Governor ESL Narasimhan has met the union home minister P Chidambaram this morning in Delhi. Narasimhan has apparently discussed the political situation in the state with the home minister. The sources have said that Governor is scheduled to meet President Pratibha Patil officially and convey his best wishes to her as her term as the President will be completed. Meanwhile, the sources have indicated that Narasimhan told the big heads in the Centre that law and order in Andhra Pradesh was in place.

It may be noted that Governor and chief minister of Andhra Pradesh have been frequently visiting Delhi giving rise to many speculations among political circles in the state. Many political observers believe that discussions were underway whether or not to change the leadership in the state.
