The Congress candidates who emerged victorious in bypolls in Narsapuram and Ramchandrapuram constituencies have met Congress MP Chiranjeevi at his residence in Hyderabad on Monday. MP Chiranjeevi has said that Congress tasted success in these contituencies only due to the coordination between the then PRP activists and Congress loyalists. Chiranjeevi has said that his MLAs Kothapalli Subbarayudu and Thota Trimoorthulu would strive for the upliftement of the public in their respective constituencies. The newly elected MLAs have thanked the public for voting them. They said they would stand by the side of the public.

It is known that Chiranjeevi, who shouldered the responsibility of Congress in bypolls, preserved the dignity of party as two candidates were elected in bypolls. Had Chiranjeevi not campaigned for bypolls, Congress would have faced the same situation what TDP faced, said political experts.
