KCR Next Big Plan For Non-Dalit Voters:- Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao stepped out with an interesting move to lure the dalit voters in the state. An amount of Rs 10 lakhs will be deposited directly into their bank accounts and the program of Dalit Bandhu is expected to benefit 13 lakh dalit families in the state. The program is implemented recently and is expected to be expanded throughout the state in phase. KCR is now keen to impress the non-Dalit voters across Telangana. With Huzurabad bypoll scheduled in October, KCR is on a mission to benefit 2.36 lakh non-Dalit voters in the constituency. Among them, 1.30 lakh people come from backward castes and the other 1.80 lakh people are from various other castes.
KCR is in plans to introduce welfare schemes for all the non-Dalits in the state very soon. He also hinted of a BC Bandhu and the discussions about the same are going on. All the ministers are asked to held meetings with the people and seek their support. BC Ministers are holding meetings with the respective communities which is also a part of the campaign in Telangana. TRS is quite confident on winning the Huzurabad bypoll and these welfare schemes would be an additional support for them. There are 46,700 dalits in the constituency and there are 21,000 dalit families in five mandals. The government already transferred Rs 2000 crores into the bank accounts of the dalits. Among the OCs, Redd voters are the highest with 22,600 population and Brahmins, Velamas are 12,150 voters.
