BJP to Contest in Tirupati By-polls: Janasena to Support:- There has been a tough debate going on between Janasena and BJP after both the parties decided to contest together in all the upcoming polls in the Telugu states. Janasena wanted to contest in the Tirupati by-polls but BJP is keen to strengthen the party in Andhra Pradesh after the national party report good victories in Telangana. Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan had several meetings with the state BJP leaders and he even met the crucial leaders in the national capital. Amit Shah too was in plans to finalize the decision during his recent visit but the tour was canceled in the last minute.

The final decision seems to have been taken recently and BJP will contest in the Tirupati by-polls. Janasena will support the party in the polls. Union Minister and BJP in-charge for Andhra Pradesh, V Muraleedharan informed the news. He said that the party's Central Election Committee (CEC) will finalize the candidate very soon. Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan and BJP President Somu Veerraju met together and discussed about the Tirupati by-polls.

"Leading the ‘fight for the people and by the people,’ a BJP’s candidate, backed by Jana Sena will fight Tirupati by-election. A unanimous decision was taken at a meeting attended by Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan and BJP State president Somu Veerraju. BJP’s victory march will begin from Tirupati. BJP and Jana Sena Party will expose the shady designs of YSRC and TDP that undermine the beliefs of devotees. These satraps’ self-serving and partisan approach deprived people of Tirupati. Time to put an end to such trends, (sic)," posted Muraleedharan on his twitter page.

Pawan also interacted with Sunil Deodhar, Nadendla Manohar after the decision was taken. Several BJP leaders announced in the past that BJP will contest in the by-polls. But Janasena said that they would field their candidate in the elections. Ratnaprabha, the former Chief Secretary of Karnataka is considered as the candidate for the Tirupati by-polls. The finalized candidate's name will be announced only after the Election Commission announces the election schedule.
