State nods to regularize encroached land

The encroached land by B Ramalinga Raju's father Rama Raju in Raidurg of Lingampally mandal has been regularized by the state government. The state has asked the officials to regularize the 1,166 acres of land in plot number 19 as the encroacher’s son paid Rs. 19. 89 lakh to the government.

Other lands in Raidurg of Ranga Reddy district were also regularized. Another encroached land by one G Suneeta Reddy was regularized as she paid the required fee of Rs. 14.02 lakh. A senior revenue official has said that the government had earlier started regularization scheme only for poor people but it was extended to the housing communities as well as the years passed.

Several other individuals who encroached government lands paid the required regularization fee starting from six lakhs.
