Vaccination for HINI to be distributed today

The Director of Health, S Aruna Kumar has said that vaccination to prevent HINI has been procured by the department. This vaccination would be distributed to all government hospital in the state.  She has said that the recent swine flu has claimed as many as 13 lives in the state. It is known that swine flu, which created panic across the country, including the state two years ago is back again this year.
This vaccination for HINI would be given free of cost to put a check to swine flu in the state, said Aruna Kumari. She has also said that swine flu will contain symptoms just like any other flu except that HINI virus will affect lungs making the condition of patient critical.
Caused by Influenza A Virus, HINI/commonly known as swine flu, is contagious disease.

When one experiences the above mentioned symptoms, he/she should not take own medicine like paracetomol  or neglect the condition. The individual with any of such symptoms should seek immediate medical attention.
One should always distance themselves with those experiencing flu symtoms besides taking enough water and cleaning hands often as precautionary measures, added Aruna Kumari.
It’s always better to wear masks especially when you travel on crowded buses and other public transport in order to be on safe land. (Phani)
