The third day at the Andhra Pradesh assembly started with the oppositions Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) shouting slogans over the No-confidence and the Telangana bill. The proceedings were stalled for half an hour by the Speaker Nadendla Manohar. The Speaker took up the Question and answer session as the protests deepened.
As the assembly unfurled on the third day of the short five day winter assembly sessions, the TDP representatives shouted slogans regarding the No-confidence motion. They had issued a notice to the Speaker on Thursday. The TRS also simultaneously got up and shouted slogans regarding the Telangana bill.
It may be noted that the last two days, assembly was stalled with similar uproar and no worthy business was transacted till now. The Speaker adjourned the house on both the days amid utter pandemonium as opposition members surrounded his podium, demanding that their no-confidence motion be taken up. The members surrounded the podium with placards and the scene was out of control.
