Veteran freedom fighter and former minster of the Telangana region Mr Konda Lakshman Bapuji today ended his week long fast at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. He began fast on Nov 1 demanding the formation of separate state of Telangana.

Bapuji told journalists on the occasion that he would conduct a meeting of the freedom fighters of the Telangana area on Nov 10 in Hyderabad and a programme to take up Satyagraha in the 10 districts of Telangana would also be decided and announced on that day.

Bapuji also said he would conduct a round table conference on Nov 13 with representatives of the three areas of the state.

He also called up on the people of Telangana to participate in big numbers during the proposed Satyagraha in the districts and asked all leaders to unite under one umbrella to fight for the sake of Telangana under one flag and with one agenda.

Bapuji said he would again launch his Satyagraha on Nov 22 near the Parliament Bhavan in Delhi during the winter session of parliament.

Meanwhile, TRS leaders alleged that some Telangana betrayers are behind the fast of Konda Lakshman Bapuji.
