T leaders asked to form parallel govt

chiruVeteran freedom fighter Konda Lakshman Bapuji expressed the opinion that the Telangana MLAs and MPs should declare the Telangana state on their own and form a parallel government for the region instead of submitting their resignations once again.

The freedom fighter gave the suggestion on Tuesday when the TDP Telangana Forum leaders met him at his residence and urged him to explore the possibility of forming a non-political common platform which would fight for achieving Telangana state.

Bapuji found fault with the TRS chief Mr KCR for not joining with others in carrying out the struggle for Telangana. “All parties and organizations should unite for the sake of Telangana and there is a necessity for forming a non-political front to take the struggle forward,”

Bapuji said he would hold consultations with leaders of all political parties and people’s organizations on August 7 on forming a common front for leading the agitation for achieving Telangana.

Meanwhile, senior TDP leader Errabilli Dayakara Rao said they were ready to join the common platform leaving their party flags behind.
