US had liberalized rules relating to educational Visas

JNTUKakinadaThe U S Vice Consul Matthew B Stannard enlightened the students at the JNTU Kakinada about the better engineering education facilities in the United States and advised the students of JNTUK to avail the facilities for a better career. He further said the US Government had liberalized the rules relating to granting of educational Visas for the benefit of the students. After liberalization of Visa rules, as many as 12,000 educational visas were being granted annually.

He was the guest of honour at the seminar on engineering education facilities in the US, organised by the US-India education foundation at the JNTUK campus here on Tuesday. He also brought out the facts for them that in the US there were more than 4,000 engineering colleges and over one lakh Indian students were now studying in various American universities, he said, adding after completion of higher studies the students were securing good placements and staying there.
