Chief Minister Mr Kirankumar Reddy has asked the Governor ESL Narasimhan to accept the resignation of Minister for Infrastructure Mr Komatireddy Venkata reddy who had resigned from the cabinet.
The Governor is likely to accept the resignation by this evening, it is learnt.
Mr Komatireddy Venkata reddy has submitted his resignation directly to the Governor three days ago protesting against the delay in the formation of the Telangana state.
Mr Venkata reddy has criticised Kirankumar reddy many a time over his response to the on-going mass general strike by four lakh employees of the Telangana region for the sake of Telangana.
