Amidst the ongoing brisk activity on Telangana in Delhi, Union Minister and in-charge of AP congress affairs, Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad is taking time off to visit Hyderabad on Sunday to participate in some official programs.

Chief Minister Kirankumar Reddy and Azad will together take up a tour of the Prakasam district on Sunday and inaugurate the prestigious Indira Prabha program at Yerragondla palem in the district.

However, sources said that Azad is undertaking the trip to discuss certain issues on Telangana with the chief minister. “Azad will also appraise the CM on the developments taking place on the T issue,” said a senior congress party leader.

Originally, Azad announced in Delhi three days ago that he would invite Kirankumar to Delhi to discuss some official matters but it seemed he had changed his mind and decided to undertake the trip to Hyderabad himself.

The development indicates that the congress leadership and the Centre are making fast moves on Telangana to find a solution to the vexed problem at the earliest.
