Seemandhra Union Ministers meet Advani

Seemandhra Union Ministers KS Rao, Pallam Raju, Chiranjeevi, Purandeswari and Surya Prakash Reddy met BJP senior most leader LK Advani a while ago in Delhi ahead of the Parliament session. KS Rao led the Union ministers and has reportedly submitted a list of suggestions to be made in Telangana bill. KS Rao has been forcing for Union Territory Status to Hyderabad and for merger of Bhadrachalam division in Seemandhra region.

However, BJP is against the UT status to Hyderabad nevertheless may consider the Bhadrachalam option so that it would gain some advantage in the Seemandhra region. KS Rao also asked for support of BJP for lifting the suspension of Seemandhra MPs from the Lok Sabha over the pepper spray incident. But BJP is against this and at the same time reportedly said that without Seemandhra MPs, debate or discussion on Telangana Bill is not possible.

BJP Parliamentary Board which met last evening was lasted for more than two hours and leaders did not speak to media after the meeting. BJP has zeroed upon a surprise move in Lok Sabha to tackle the Telangana Bill and sources say that they might put questions on the government which could make them fall in defense. Overall BJP is also making tactical steps in handling the Telangana issue.
