Bharatiya Janata Party is well known for its discipline and leaders of the party very rarely criticize each other. But the Telangana issue even did not leave this most disciplined party as leaders making confusing statements. Senior most Venkaiah Naidu has been the center of the controversy as he said BJP would consider support to Telangana bill only after going through it thoroughly.
Telangana MLAs Yanam and Nagam Janardhan Reddy questioned Venkaiah Naidu's statements are his personal or they represent the party. “Venkaiah hails from Seemandhra region and now his confusing statements are sending wrong indications to the people of Telangana. This will certainly have an impact in the upcoming elections,”said both the MLAs.
Meanwhile AP BJP president Kishan Reddy has replied very tactically to this comments. “BJP is for Telangana and there is no doubt in that. But the context of Yanam and Nagam should be understood. We will seek explanation from both the MLAs and action will be taken accordingly,” said Kishan Reddy.
