TRS Candidate, Mr Pocharam Srinivasa Reddy, today filed his first set of nomination papers to contest for the Banswada by election being held on October 13.

TRS leader Harish Rao and other activists accompanied Srinivasa reddy when he filed the papers before the returning officer. “I filed the papers today as the day is very good. I will file the second set of nomination papers on Monday and thousands of activists will participate in the rally,” said Srinivasa reddy.

Congress party has announced the candidature of PCC secretary, Mr. Srinivasa Goud to fight the by election knowing full well that its winning chances are dim in the by poll caused by the resignation of Srinivasa reddy from TDP and the assembly. He later joined the TRS.

Srinivasa Goud belongs to the Chanduru village of Varni Mandalam in the Nizambad district and has considerable following in the neighboring villages.
