TRS to oppose Konda Surekha in by-poll

TRS Chief Mr K. Chandrasekhara Rao today announced his party would put up its candidate against pro-YSR congress party candidate Konda Surekha in the forthcoming by polls in the Telangana region.

Addressing media persons at the Telangana Bhavan, KCR said that his party would appoint in- charge persons for every 100 voters in all six constituencies where by-polls will be held soon.

“We will undoubtedly win with bumper majorities in all the six constituencies going for the by- polls shortly,” said KCR exuding renewed confidence.

Referring to the reduced majority in the Banswada by poll where former TDP leader Mr Pocharam Srinivasa reddy contested as the TRS candidate, KCR said TRS could not take up full fledged campaign there because of the all people’s strike at that time.

“We will manifest our full capacity this time,” he said without mincing his words. “We will reconstruct the Telangana agitation from the grass root level in the near future and people will teach a fitting lesson to those who betrayed the Telangana cause,” said KCR. (JUBS)
