Hurting the sentiments of Seema Andhra people settled down in Telangana, Banswada TRS MLA Mr Pocharam Srinivasa reddy today described them as betrayers of Telangana.

Addressing journalists at the TRS office in Hyderabad for the first time after winning the Banswada by poll, Mr Srinivasa Reddy said that all settlers had voted against Telangana in the just concluded by election.

Asserting that the TDP cadre is with the TRS, he said both TDP and the Congress would not have got even their deposits if they had contested separately. “Anyhow, the Telangana people will teach them a lesson in future,” he said.

Srinivasa reddy said that both the Congress and TDP have conspired with each other and campaigned against Telangana in the by election. “They have also indulged in unbridled distribution of money and liquor,” said the newly elected MLA who will take his oath tomorrow in the presence of the Speaker.

Srinivasa reddy accused the TDP and congress of trying to suppress the Telangana cause with their ulterior motives. But they would never succeed, he said.
