The CBI today began the interrogation of the arrested mining czar and former Karnataka minister Mr Gali Janardhan reddy at its office complex in Koti in Hyderabad.
During the interrogation, Janardhan reddy’s lawyers were also present as per the court orders. The CBI was given the custody of Janardhan reddy and his brother- in-law, Mr Srinivasa reddy by the Nampally CBI court on Tuesday.
The duo will be in CBI custody till 10.30 am on September 19 and the daily interrogation will go on till then at the CBI local headquarters. The court rejected the bail application of Janardhan reddy and Srinivasa reddy on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, on the second day today some more persons who owned villas in the Emaar Estates visited the CBI office and answered questions with regard to their purchase of properties in the APIIC and Emaar land scam.
The representatives of Meenakshi Energy Pvt Ltd and Siva Credit Ltd today turned up at the CBI office early morning. Some CBI officials went to the residence of the Tollywood hero Mahesh Babu to take statement from his wife who bought a villa in the Emaar Estates.
