Cong asks Speaker to disqualify Jagan group

Cong asks Speaker to disqualify Jagan groupThe congress whip in the assembly Mr K. Murali today met the Speaker Mr Nadendla Manohar and requested him to disqualify the congress MLAs for exhibiting loyalty to the YSR Congress party chief MR YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

Later, speaking to newspersons out side the Speaker’s chamber, Murali said that it was unfortunate that some MLAs are supporting the king of corruption Jagan in the name of YSR at a time when the entire country was showing solidarity for the anti-corruption movement launched by the Gandhian Anna Hazare.

“Their action is a clear violation of party discipline and they must be disqualified,” said Murali adding that it was the prerogative of the Speaker to take action against them or accept or reject their resignations.

Murali said that whatever is the case, the congress party is ready to face the by elections whenever they are held.
