Holding the congress leadership and the central government fully responsible for the mass resignations of T congress leaders and the developing political crisis in AP, the CPM politburo today asked the Centre to take an immediate decision on Telangana issue.
In a statement issued in Delhi, the party said that the inaction of the government has led to the present crisis and criticized the government for keeping mum for the last six months after the Justice Sri Krishna Committee had submitted its report on Telangana.
“The Home Minister kept quiet for six months after conducting a formal all party meeting,” said the CPM in its scathing statement and demanded the Centre to take an immediate decision on the lingering issue.
