Reiterating that the congress MLAs, MPs and MLCs of the Telangana region will submit their resignations on July 4 as announced earlier, senior leader and Rajya Sabha member K. Keshava rao said today they are aware of the fact that separate state would not be formed with their resignations alone.

 

“After submitting the resignations, we have to take up the path of agitation along with people. Then only will we be able to ensure Telangana formation,” he said participating in a meet-the-press programme arranged by the Telangana Journalists Forum in Hyderabad.

 

He said T congress leaders have decided to resign en masse after considering all pros and cons and the resignations will be withdrawn only if the Centre agrees to the formation of the Telangana state. “We have to take up the path of agitation and there is no alternative for us,” he said.
