A girl undergoing Teacher Training Course (TTC) at Allagadda in Kurnool district was allegedly raped and found murdered by unidentified persons, according to delayed reports.

The naked and fully decomposed body of Haripriya, belonging to the Lingala village of Pamulapadu Mandalam, was found in the fields near to the Indane Gas go-down on the outskirts of Allagadda this morning by the villagers.

Police suspect that the incident must have taken place two days ago. They identified her as Haripriya from the books and notebooks recovered from the place of incident. Neighbors said that the girl was living in a rented room in Allagadda and studying TTC in the town.

Police are trying to figure out the circumstances that led to the incident. A case has been registered and police have started the investigation.
