Merger process to be over by June 20: Chiru

ChiranjeeviPRP chief and mega star Chiranjeevi said today that he was hopeful of his party’s merger with the congress being formalized by the Election Commission of India in two weeks.

Speaking to media persons in Delhi this evening, the mega star said that the formal announcement recognizing the merger by the Election commission is likely to come around June 20.

Union Minister and in-charge of the congress party affairs in AP Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad, who also participated in the media conference, said that Chiranjeevi and his men in the party will get their due share in congress and no one should get worried on that count.

Azad said he could not meet Chiranjeevi and others in Hyderabad during his recent trip and requested them to come to Delhi for detailed meetings with them. “I know almost all leaders in the AP congress but I do not know most of the PRP leaders. So I requested them to come to Delhi for some detailed meetings,” he said.
